Learned some new signs ("eat," "cereal," "dog")
Discovered his love of apples
Visited with one of the great loves of his life, our friend Julia, and her girls, Karla and Dayana
Showed no fear in the face of a dragon
Shared a hat with Uncle Haig
Ate the heck out of some collards (next to apples and bananas, his favorite food)
Got a haircut (by Mama, during a scintillating episode of Blue's Clues, which was the only way we could get him to be still long enough for the trim)
Visited the pumpkin patch
Went crazy over some birthday balloons
Had a bumpin' birthday party
Ate some banana cake (made, shaped and iced to look like a pumpkin by his Grand)
Spent some quality time with his extended family
Practiced his walking

Ate a couple of leaves
Ate an entire apple (skin and all) by himself and pitched a fit when we wouldn't let him have the core
And lost a fight with the corner of the Lego table at daycare.
Next up, Silas's nanny starts next Monday--please think good thoughts that the transition goes well!

Silas really is a good looking kid. Great job guys!
I love the update. I am cutting Jonah's hair too. I get nervous every time (twice now) but feel that I am improving. Happy Thanks Giving
